Choose the Best Accountant Hamilton NZ?
Posted by Brad Feisst on

Slaters likes to give good advice and with this in mind, we've compiled a comprehensive list of some of the best accountants in the Hamilton region and The Waikato. We understand the best accountants offer slightly different service and deliveries and their target markets may not always be the same. We're very comfortable with our client base and the way we run our firm, and believe a straightforward list can help you make the right choice for you, your family and business.

How To Download your CSV Files
Posted by Millie Slater on

We use Xero.
Xero gets its data directly from the bank in the form of “Bank Feeds”. Xero gets the digital form of exactly what you get if you receive a paper bank statement through the mail.
Getting this data digitally to Xero is quicker for our clients because we don’t have to enter the data into a computer by hand from a bank statement. Saves hands and saves trees. The one downside is that we can only get data going forward in time. That means past data either has to be entered by hand or the data is sourced from internet banking. This is is where we need you to help because only you have access to your online banking.

Large or Small Accounting Firm?
Posted by Millie Slater on

What size business are you? What size accounting firm should you be with? This is important stuff.
If you're an SME (small to medium enterprise) you'll benefit from being with an SME accounting firm that matches you in size, approach and issues. Why? An SME Chartered Accounting firm faces the same daily worries you face. There are tax challenges, staff issues, cashflow, and sales and marketing matters to deal with.
