Christmas is just about here but the good news is Slater Chartered Accountants will operate with a skeleton staff throughout January. Our doors will reopen on the 6th January, so if you need us, we'll be available. Where other firms shut down entirely, we've always had the view that keeping a few people on improves service.
So if you're a client or in need of financial advice or accounting help, there's someone to take the load off your shoulders and help you through. The office doors close on the 20th but Brett and Brad are both available via email. All you have to do is shoot them a line and they'll reply promptly. If it's urgent, your queries will be answered and attended to. That's email@example.com or firstname.lastname@example.org for those who need the support.
Face to face interviews and meetings with Brett won't happen from December 17 through to the 9th January, so factor that in and make an appointment for after that date. The online calendar on the website is the place to do that.

It was a big year for us in 2013. We did a complete rebrand and moved the premises to Bryce Street, and we made massive internal changes that will hold us in excellent stead over the next several years. That's all great. But perhaps the most important aspect of what we've done is the pursuit of excellence with HR and our team players. We've gone to great lengths to find a group of exceptional ancillary staff and accountants who work beautifully together and are able to deliver at the standard we want and require for our clients. We now have our dream team and have sourced the very best people of the highest calibre. For those of you who know small business, this is a big job, but it's been well worth it. Growth and improvement only come about when the hard decisions are made. We've done that and we'd like to extend a big thank you to every member of our team who has stood by the changes and seen the improvements and the transformations since the Knox Street days. We are a different unit. We're an excellent unit. We go above and beyond. We're proud of that and we're proud of how we deliver.
