The best bean-counters in Hamilton have been given a resounding seal of approval by Miss Piggy. The world-renowned star took a few hours out from her busy schedule on Wednesday to meet with Brett Slater and gain some valuable business and taxation advice that relates to her multitude of Kiwi investments. "I am very happy to say that Slater Chartered Accountants is my very most favourite accounting firm in Hamilton and also the whole wide world," she said. "I am so happy to finally meet Brett and the Team in at Bryce Street and I will tell Kermy all about them when I get home." Kermit was of course, noticeably absent and the solo jaunt to NZ by Miss Piggy on November 27 has only fuelled further speculation in the gossip columns the pair may be in trouble. During the interview with Brett, Miss Piggy exercised an uncustomary physical restraint which she made a point of saying was due to a recommitment to vows with Kermy last October. "The gossip columnists ARE WRONG," she shouted at one point during the meeting. "Kermy and I are fine. There is no problems with us and we are very interested in all the good things Brett Slater does for us. He gives us the best tax advice and I love the chocolates from the chocolate bowl at reception. I would eat them all, but Kermy has me on a diet." Miss Piggy said she gained considerable advice and help from Brett and Brad in relation to her financials, GST and tax position here in NZ. "He is simply the best...just the best of all, and even Kermit is just a little jealous because he is sooo smart with all our tax and financials and figures." She also made particular note of the new premises situated at the Old Governor's Tavern in Bryce Street. "I have such fond memories of The Governor's," she added. "Not many people know this, but it's where I first met Kermit many years ago in our halcyon days." Miss Piggy left Hamilton directly after the meeting with Slater Chartered Accountants and vowed to return to tour The Waikato in 2014 with a full fashion runway show for "The Stop Pig Shooting" Charity that was established in October to combat Babe hating on The North Island.
